[AY2020 Spring Semester] Changes to Orientation, Course Registration and Classes

Information on the Orientation, Course Registration and Classes will be updated in light of the situation of COVID-19. Please refer to the following page for other information.


Classes

Spring Semester classes start: Thursday, April 30
*No changes from the announcement on March 16.


*State of Emergency was announced by the Japanese Government on April 7th, however, the academic calendar remains unchanged.
*There will be no face-to-face teaching during spring semester AY2020 and from the class start date, courses will continue to be provided online. (Updated: April 28)
Please check the announcements made by respective faculties.


Orientation

From Monday, April 13 to Tuesday, April 28
*No changes from the announcement on March 16.

There is no orientation during the above period which require physical attendance. Please check the announcements made by respective faculties.


Course Registration

Updated: April 16
Affiliation Course registration period
Hiyoshi campus (undergraduate students)
Shiba-Kyoritsu campus (undergraduate students/graduate students)
From 12:30 pm, Thursday, April 16 to 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 22
Except for the above From 12:30 pm, Thursday, April 16 to 11:00 am, Monday, April 27
*The deadline of registration for courses offered at Hiyoshi campus (except for courses offered at graduate schools) and Shiba-Kyoritsu campus: 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 22



*Excluding Second year level to Sixth year level students affiliated with Faculty of Medicine
*Students can add/change/delete course registration during the course registration period. However, lecturers in charge of respective courses may contact you before the classes start, therefore students are highly recommended to register for courses before Tuesday, April 21.
*Students should register for courses referring to the course registration guide (available from the Keio Student Website) and announcements on keio.jp.
*In case there are error messages on the Academic Affairs Web System, students should solve errors in course registration referring to course registration guide.


Confirmation on the Class Support System

Information on course materials, information on course conduct (live feed, on-demand etc.), assignments, or announcements from lecturers will be posted to the Class Support System. Please make sure to check the system regularly.
Registered courses will be shown on the Class Support System on the next morning of the day the registration was made.


First year level students should register the email address on the Class Support System by Tuesday, April 21.
