Applying to use Classrooms/ Group Study Room

AY2022 Fall Semester
Use of Classrooms and Group Study Rooms on Mita Campus

The suspension on the use of classrooms (sub-seminars or officially authorized student club activities) and the Group Study Rooms will be lifted starting with reservations for use. Reservations are to be made from the following online form.

  • Applications of the classroom reservation for sub-seminars or officially authorized student club activities/group study form are accepted via the online form.

Classroom Reservation

Notes for reservation and use


  1. Classrooms can only be reserved for seminars or officially authorized student club activities. Activities at the assigned classrooms are limited. Classrooms may not be used for job hunting events, on-campus briefing sessions by companies, etc.
  2. Please fill out and bring the "Request to Hold Meeting/Gathering on Campus" to the reservation counter.
  3. We will issue the notification of permission after your application is approved. It takes one business day to receive the notification.
  4. Make sure to bring the notification of permission with you when you use the classroom.
  5. Please leave the classroom by the end of your reserved period. You are allowed to use the reserved classroom during the approved day and time only.
  6. If you change the arrangement of the room, make sure to put the desks and chairs back to the original position.
  7. Lectures may also be held at night. Please take care not to make noise when moving desks or chairs.

Application period

From 2 weeks (1 week at the start of the new semester) to 2 days before the day of use. (Excluding days when the office is closed.)


Available time for use

Monday to Saturday 9:00-20:00
In principle, classrooms cannot be reserved on Sundays, national holidays, holidays specified by Keio University, and during the semester-end examination period.


Use of classrooms during university

Use by officially authorized student clubs: In principle, not allowed.
Use for seminars: Approval by your supervisor is required.
*Please ask your supervisor to write that he/she has approved the use of the classroom in the "Notes" section of the "Request to Hold Meeting/Gathering on Campus."
*In principle, classrooms can only be reserved between 9:00 and 20:00.
*Classrooms cannot be reserved during periods when the university offices are closed (middle of August and end of December to early January)


Application to reserve classrooms for the year for sub-seminars

We will accept applications to reserve classrooms for the year for sub-seminars at the start of the Spring and Fall Semesters. For details, please check the announcement which will be posted on the bulletin board at the West School Building.


Classroom use for conference or by alumni associations

Please ask the Facility Management Office. Facility rental fee, etc., will be charged.



Group Study Room (7th Floor, South School Building) Reservation

Notes for reservation and use


  1. Group Study Rooms can only be used by Keio University students. The rooms may not be used for job hunting events, on-campus briefing sessions by companies, etc.
  2. Group Study Rooms can be used by groups of 2 or more students. Personal use is not allowed.
  3. One student can reserve one room for up to 3 hours per day. (Even if a student belong to several groups, he/she can reserve only one rom up to 3 hours per day.)

How to apply

Weekday use: Group Study Rooms can be reserved on the day.
For use between 16:45 and 20:45, reservations have priority, but if a room is available, you are free to use it. Please reserve a room on the day using the computer set at counter No. 6 at the Office of Student Services.
Saturday use: Rooms can be used without reservations, but be considerate of others.


Available time for use

Monday to Saturday 9:00-20:45
*Group Study Rooms cannot be used on Sundays, national holidays, and on days and periods specified by Keio University.
