Keio University established the Research Encouragement Scholarship for Graduate Students (benefit-type scholarship) in the 2016 academic year with the objective of encouraging talented students to enter graduate school or their research activities while enrolled in graduate school. It is part of the university's efforts to reinforce its foundation for fostering future leaders in various research fields, and who can make international contributions through research.
