Information on Waseda-Keio Baseball Games after Monday
If a game is scheduled on or after Monday*, the handling of classes during Waseda-Keio Baseball Games will be posted on this page at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the game. 　
*Cases where the Waseda-Keio game is played on or after Monday (If either university has not won two games or if the Waseda-Keio championship game is held)
・In case one of the games on Saturday or Sunday is cancelled due to rain, etc.
・If the results of the first and second games are one win and one loss.
・If the result of the first and/or second game is a draw.
・If either university has two wins at the Waseda-Keio Baseball Games and the both university share top standings with equal winning points and equal winning percentages, a playoff will take place.


Regarding class schedules affected by the Waseda-Keio Baseball Games (Tokyo Big-Six Baseball League hold on October 28 and October 29, 2023), follow each campus decisions on how classes will be handled on the infomation below.

If Waseda University and Keio University share top standings with equal winning points and equal winning percentages, a playoff will take place and classes will be handled according to the same information.

To check the schedule or results of the games, please check the website of Tokyo Big-Six Baseball League or call Jingu Stadium Telephone Service (0570-03-5589) (available in Japanese only).


How the classes are handled
(by the campus where they are held and faculty/graduate school by which they are taught)

Mita

Faculty/Graduate School classes (except certain graduate schools*)

If the game is held, first period classes will take place but classes in the second period onwards will be cancelled to allow students to support the Keio team.
However, classes will run as scheduled if the game is cancelled due to weather or for any other reason.
(If the game is held on Monday, October 30 and after, the same rules apply.)
The information will be posted on Keio University Student Website at 9 a.m. on the day of the game.

*Classes of the Graduate School of Letters ("Information Resource Management"course of Library and Information Science, "Art Management"course of Aesthetics and Science of Arts, and those of the doctoral Program of the Major in Library and Information Science) and Law School will be held as scheduled whether the game is held or not.

Japanese Language Program

If the game is held, first period classes will take place but classes in the second period onwards will be cancelled to allow students to support the Keio team.
However, classes will run as scheduled if the game is cancelled due to weather or for any other reason.
(Classes will be held on their regular schedule on October 30 and after regardless of if the game is held.)
The information will be posted on Keio University Student Website at 9 a.m. on the day of the game.

Keio Japanese Courses

If the game is held, first period classes will take place but classes in the second period onwards will be cancelled to allow students to support the Keio team.
However, classes will run as scheduled if the game is cancelled due to weather or for any other reason.
(If the game is held on Monday, October 30 and after, the same rules apply.)
The information will be posted on Keio University Student Website at 9 a.m. on the day of the game.

Hiyoshi

Faculty classes

If the game is held, first period classes will take place but classes in the second period onwards will be cancelled to allow students to support the Keio team.
However, classes will run as scheduled if the game is cancelled due to weather or for any other reason.
(If the game is held on Monday, October 30 and after, the same rules apply.)
The information will be posted on Keio University Student Website at 9 a.m. on the day of the game.

Graduate School classes

Classes will be held as scheduled whether the game is held or not.

Shinanomachi

School of Medicine/Graduate School of Medicine classes

Classes will be held as scheduled whether the game is held or not.

Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care classes

On game days, first and second period classes are held as normal, and all classes from the third period onwards are canceled to allow students to support the team.
If a game is canceled due to bad weather, etc., classes will be held as normal. Practical training courses will be held as normal, regardless of whether a game is held.

Yagami

Faculty classes

If the game is held on Saturday, first period classes will take place but classes from the second period onwards will be cancelled to allow students to support the Keio team.
However, classes will run as scheduled if the game is cancelled due to weather or for any other reason.
(If the game is held on Monday, October 30 and after, the same rules apply.)
The information will be posted on Keio University Student Website at 9 a.m. on the day of the game.
Classes will be held as scheduled whether the game is held or not in the case that the Waseda-Keio Baseball Games continue until Monday or later.

Graduate School classes

Classes will be held as scheduled whether the game is held or not.

Shonan Fujisawa (SFC)

Faculties of Policy Management and Environment and Information Studies, and Graduate School of Media and Governance classes

There are no plans to run either regular classes or make-up classes on October 28 (Sat) and October 29 (Sun), which is when the Waseda-Keio Baseball Games are scheduled for.
If the games extend to Monday, October 30 and after, please check the following website for information on how classes will be handled.


Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care classes

In principle, there are no regular classes on Saturdays.
Practical training courses will be held as normal, regardless of whether a game is held.
Please follow the instructions of the lecturer in charge of the class regarding the handling of classes that fall on the dates of courses with classes concentrated within a specified period or makeup classes.
Please check the following website about handling of classes in the case that the Waseda-Keio Baseball Games continue until Monday or later.


Graduate School of Health Management classes

In principle, there are no regular classes on Saturdays.
Practical training courses for the Nursing Major students will be held as normal, regardless of whether a game is held.
Please follow the instructions of the lecturer in charge of the class regarding the handling of classes that fall on the dates of courses with classes concentrated within a specified period or makeup classes.
