The impact of the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) is also affecting the financial situation of Keio students. There are students who have no choice but to cover most of their living expenses through earnings from part-time work due to the financial difficulties of their families, living away from home, etc., but because of reductions in their income, it is thought that some students are finding it difficult to afford sufficient food on a daily basis. With the hope of easing some of the anxieties of these students and helping them maintain the conditions that will enable them to devote themselves to their studies as much as possible, we have decided to continue providing assistance relating to "food" from 2021 academic year. If you would like to receive assistance, please apply in accordance with the following procedures.
Selected students will receive 3000 yen's worth of "meal vouchers" (300-yen x 10 vouchers) that can be used at designated campus cafeterias.
*Meal vouchers can only be used at designated locations.
*Meal vouchers can be used at shops on all campuses.
*Meal vouchers expire on February 28, 2023. (However, if you will lose your status as a student before this date due to graduation, completion, withdrawal, etc., the expiration date of the vouchers will be the last day that you are registered as a student.)
1000 students (a tentative combined total between the first and second round of applications)
(Only those who meet conditions (a) and (b) below are eligible to apply.)
(a) Students enrolled at an undergraduate faculty or graduate school (including international students.) However, non-degree students, including non-degree students (for credit), and correspondence course students are not eligible to apply.
(b) Students who must cover their academic fees, expenses, and grocery costs through income earned from part-time work, but who are worried because they are not earning enough money due to the closure of their places of employment or their employers refraining from opening their businesses, and are unable to find new part-time work to cover such expenses.
*Privately financed international students who have not yet completed the Spring Semester's "scholarship applicant registration" are also eligible to apply.
(Students who meet the following criteria will be given preference during selection.)
*We may refer to the information on the financial situation of your household that you submitted when you applied for scholarships.
*If your address is different from the "current address" you have registered with the university, please carry out procedures immediately to change your address.

The purpose of this assistance program is not to promote dining out (multiple people dining together in groups and conversing) in cafeterias. You must not act in ways that increase the risk of COVID-19 infections when dining using the meal vouchers.
Please check "Measures to Prevent COVID-19 Infections -Protecting Yourself and Everyone on Campus-" and do not take any action equivalent to close contact. Please follow the infection prevention measures in place at each facility.
If you have any questions about this assistance program, please contact us using the dedicated form below. (We will not be able to respond to questions received at the service counters, by email, or by telephone through the Office of Student Services on each campus.)
