Applications for the "Subsidy system to support Keio students who are facing financial difficulties begin taking online classes"

This system partially subsidizes the cost to set up a communication environment for Keio students who are facing difficulties with preparing a communication environment suitable for taking online classes due to their financial situation, so as to ensure that they do not miss out on any opportunities to receive education.
The aim is to prioritize support for Keio students who are truly being obstructed from commencing with the online classes due to a deteriorating learning environment as a consequence of the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease).

Please apply using the application form by no later than Thursday, April 30 if you wish to receive the subsidy.

Amount of subsidy and timing of payment

• Subsidy amount: 15,000 yen

Precautions when applying

• To confirm the identity of applicants, only keio.jp account holders can access the application form.
• The subsidy amount can only be transferred to ordinary deposit accounts (multipurpose accounts) and ordinary savings accounts (Japan Post Bank) opened in the student's name at a domestic financial institution.
• It is necessary to scan (or photograph) the two-page spread of the bankbook for the account to which the subsidy will be transferred (pages detailing the branch name, branch number, and name of account holder), and upload this data via the application form.
• Please confirm that you have received the "registration confirmation e-mail" that will be sent once you have completed your registration for the application form. Please note that if you register multiple times, only the last registration will be recognized as a valid application.

Obligation of all students accepted for a subsidy

• It will be necessary for students accepted for this system to submit copies of documents verifying that the subsidy received was used to pay for preparing a communication environment (receipts and contracts sent by vendors, customer copies of procedural receipts, etc.).
