【Urgent】Request to refrain from eating with others as part of seminar, club, etc., activities during the year-end and New Year's holidays

To all Keio students,

The spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) continues unabated.

We strongly urge you to refrain from eating with others at year-end and New Year's parties as part of seminar, laboratory, club, etc., activities during the year-end and New Year's holidays.

If an infected person or a person who has been in close contact with someone who is infected is found from among those who attended a dinner party, not only will we have to take measures such as suspending activities of the group in question, but there will also be concern about the serious impact on the health of the infected individual as well as the spread of infections to those in close contact with the individual such as family members and friends.

We ask that all Keio students act responsibly and behave in a disciplined manner.
