The "state of emergency" declared by the government has been lifted on March 21 for Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, and Kanagawa prefectures.
Based on the status of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) infections, it is planned to hold classes in the Spring Semester of the 2021 academic year in hybrid formats, mixing face-to-face classes on campus and online sessions, as announced on March 3. In addition, in the Spring Semester of the 2021 academic year, there will be more opportunities to take the face-to-face classes than in the Fall Semester of the 2020 academic year.
