Classes in the Fall Semester of the 2021 academic year

Classes were held in the Spring Semester of the 2021 academic year using both face-to-face and online class formats upon implementing sufficient measures to prevent infections.

COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) workplace vaccinations are being administered at Mita Campus, and the inoculation of Keio students, faculty and staff members, and related parties is currently underway. Nevertheless, the future situation regarding COVID-19 is extremely difficult to predict with the rapid spread of mutated strains.

Consequently, the simultaneous use of face-to-face and online class formats will be continued in the Fall Semester of the 2021 academic year with sufficient measures to prevent infections put in place. Additionally, we will examine ways to increase the opportunities for students to take classes in person on campus and to revitalize their learning activities at the university.

Specific details regarding the implementation of classes (class formats) will be announced by each of the undergraduate faculties and graduate schools via keio.jp from September 6. Please make sure that you check this information.
At present, the final examinations of the Fall Semester are scheduled to be held on campus.

Changes may be made to the class formats depending on the future situation regarding COVID-19 to prioritize the safety of all Keio students. (A separate announcement will be made in this case.)
