Outline of COVID-19 Vaccinations

In accordance with the government's policy to start vaccinations against COVID-19 in the workplace, Keio University will provide vaccinations for approximately 50,000 people who support Keio's educational and research activities as well as students, academic/administrative staff members as described below.
Reservation for vaccination can be made through a dedicated website from 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 16. Details will be announced in the keio.jp "News" in the morning of Tuesday, June 15.
Please note that vaccination is optional. There will be no restrictions on the use of campus facilities or educational and research activities depending on whether you have been vaccinated or not.



  1. Vaccination venue
    1. Vaccination venue
      5th floor, South School Building, Mita Campus
      *Vaccination venues will also be set up at other campuses depending on the situation.
    2. Scale of Vaccination
      Approximately 1,600 people will be vaccinated per day.
      *The number of people to be vaccinated per day will vary depending on the situation.
    3. Vaccination period
      Every day from Monday, June 21, 2021 to Tuesday, August 31, 2021, except Sundays and holidays.
      (Vaccinations will also be available during the Mita Campus Summer Break Period.)
      *The first dose will be available until Saturday, July 17, 2021.
  2. Persons eligible to be vaccinated
    Basically, the vaccination is intended for Keio students and for all individuals who work on campus.
    1. Students (enrolled as of June 2021/scheduled to be enrolled in September 2021)
      Undergraduate and graduate students
      Including non-degree students (for credit), non-degree students (non-credit), etc., and international students (short-term international students/Japanese Language Program students)
      Correspondence course students
    2. Academic/administrative staff members (enrolled as of June 2021/in charge of classes conducted in the 2021 Fall Semester)
      Full-time academic/administrative staff members, non-tenured academic/administrative staff members, part-time lecturers, educational assistants, and temporary staff members/contractors
    3. Others
      Individuals who work on the Keio campuses and related persons
