Semester-end Examination Timetable
Please find semester-end examination timetable on K-Support→Apps→Class→Exam Timetable which will be disclosed on January 9 (Fri.), 10:00am.
Information other than regular examinations held during the examination period will be provided directly by lecturers via K-LMS, etc. Please be sure to check the information by yourself.
Semester-end examinations are not conducted for Foreign Language courses, Research Seminar / Seminar courses, Physical Activity courses and other courses for which grades are evaluated based on term papers, participation and attendance, and in-class examinations.

Examination Guidelines and Rules for Students
ALL student MUST check the web page below before taking an examination.
*Temporary student ID cards can be issued at all campus at which examinations will take place.
Prohibited Items in Semester-end Examination
Please note the following stipulations on [No restrictions], [Calculators], and [Roppo (Compendium of the six codes)] with regards to prohibited items for the semester-end examinations. However, note that if there are any futher detailed stipulations in the timetable, such stipulations will be given precedence.
No restrictions : Communication devices, PCs, and electronic dictionaries are not permitted.
Calculators : Electronic dictionaries, devices with note-taking features, and programmable devices are not permitted.
[Roppo (Compendium of the six codes)] : Items indicated below are not permitted unless specific instructions to the contrary are given by the faculty member in charge.
・Items which include precedents or commentaries.
・Items which have been written on.
・Photocopies or clippings of commercially-available editions of Roppo.
・Items which have been created using printed provision on the web, etc.
Make-up examination
Make-up examinations are held for students who were unable to take the semester-end examinations due to unavoidable reasons.

Make-up examinations are not conducted for Foreign Language courses, Research Seminar / Seminar courses, Physical Activity courses and other courses for which examinations are not given during semester-end examination period, and grades are evaluated based on term papers, participation and attendance, and in-class examinations.
Reasons for which students are eligible to apply for make-up examinations and the required supporting documents are listed below.
(1) Overlapping Examination Schedule
If examinations are overlapping with other campuses (including Institute of Science Tokyo), take the regular examinations for courses offered at other campuses, and apply for the make-up examinations for courses at Mita campus.
・Required documents: None
・Definition of overlap:
Even if the examinations are not scheduled in the same period, they are considered overlapping if the time interval between the end of one examination and the start of the other is within 60 minutes.
(Examples) Mita 2nd period and Hiyoshi 3rd period; Mita 4th period and Hiyoshi 6th period.
* If the examination at Hiyoshi exceeds 60 minutes, it will also be regarded as overlapping.
・In cases of overlap with courses offered by Institute of Science Tokyo, please consult the Faculty of Economics section of the Office of Student Services in advance.

(2) Train Accidents or Delays
・Required documents:
1.A certificate of accident or delay clearly stating the reason for missing the examination.
2.Commute Form(In principle, the form can be obtained only on the day of the examination (the day of the delay) by presenting a "Certificate of Delay" at the Office of Student Services on the campus where the course is offered.)
Only delays occurring on the route from the student's home address registered with the university will be accepted.
・Application deadline: In principle, applications must be submitted on the same day the delay occurs. You should come to
If the delay occurs outside office hours or on a Saturday, please contact the university via the K-Support inquiry form on the same day.
・Eligibility condition: Students must have left home with the intention of arriving at the examination room within 20 minutes after the examination period begins.
(3) Infectious diseases specified by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (including COVID-19)
・Required documents: A medical certificate (receipts are not accepted) certifying that the student was infected on the date of the examination.
* The certificate must clearly indicate:
The name of the infectious disease, and
A period during which you were not permitted to attend school
・Applications will not be accepted under any circumstances without a medical certificate.
(4) Funerals of Relatives within the Second Degree of Kinship
*Submit a document certifying the fact, such as a funeral notice.
(5) Overlap with a National Examination (for Certified Public Accountant)
*Submit a copy of your examination admission ticket.
(6) Other Reasons(Applications for reasons not listed in (1)-(5))
・Required documents: Supporting documents clearly stating the reason for absence.
・Example:
* Medical certificate verifying illness on the examination date and specifying that rest was required. If a student took another regular examination on a day specified as requiring rest, a make-up examination for another course held on the same day may not be approved.
* For job hunting: interview notifications, examination tickets, or certificates of company visits
・Students must attend an academic advising interview and obtain approval. Please check K-Support News for the interview schedule.
・Important: In these cases, the final grade will be one grade lower than that of a regular examination.
1. Application Period
・Courses offered in Mita: January 9 (Fri.), 10:00 a.m. - February 2 (Mon.), 11:30 a.m.
・Courses offered in Hiyoshi : January 9 (Fri.), 10:00 a.m. - February 5 (Thu.), 11:30 a.m.
* Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances.
* On the last day of the period, academic advising interviews will be conducted until 11:00 a.m. Applicants requiring an interview must complete the procedures in advance.

3. Examination Fee
2,000 JPY per course
* Examination fees will be waived in case of delay in public transportation, and overlapping examination schedule with other campuses and Science Tokyo
4. Announcement of Make-up Examination Schedule
Courses offered in Mita Campus: February 12 (Thu.), 3:00pm (tentative) *
5. Make-up Examination Date
Courses offered in Mita Campus: February 16 (Mon.) - February 17 (Tue.) (tentative)*
* Students cannot choose the date and time of the make-up examination.
* No further make-up or re-exmaninations will be conducted.
* Please confirm the Make-up Examination Schedule and Examination Date for other campuses from the "Keio University Student Website".
*The grade for the make-up examination will be lowered by one mark, except for cases (1)-(5).
*Any false application will be regarded as misconduct and be subject to penalty.
*Applications based on personal mistakes (e.g. late for exam, misunderstanding of the timetable, etc.) will not be accepted.
*Students are not eligible to take the make-up examination once they have taken the regular examination.
*Applications for make-up examinations for courses held at other campuses must be made at Mita Office of Student Services (The application period depends on the campus so be careful when applying).

Please note that the bell schedule for the makeup examination differs from that of the semester-end examination.
